Enter Group Drying Event (and Remove Tags)

To save time, rather than enter each event individually, use the procedure below to complete a group dry event at once.

To dry off a group and remove their tags:

  1. In AfiFarm, navigate to the group to dry off.

  2. Hold down the Ctrl key, then select all the animals in the group to include in the action.

  3. Right-click, then select Data Entry.

  4. In the Select Subject dialog, select Dry and click Add.

  5. In the Dry dialog, select the Remove Tag check box.

  6. Click Save.

Note: When the event is saved, the collars are removed from all the selected cows in the group.
